Your catalogue, in the chat,
managed from the same screen as the inbox.
A customer asking “price?” should get a product card, not a photo and a number typed from memory. TicAte keeps your WhatsApp catalogue in sync with Meta, sends products into the conversation, and turns the cart the customer builds into a real order on the contact record.
What is a WhatsApp catalogue?
A WhatsApp catalogue is the product list attached to your WhatsApp Business Account, which customers can browse inside the chat and add to a cart without leaving WhatsApp. In TicAte the catalogue is managed from the app rather than from Meta Commerce Manager: you add products with prices, images and descriptions, push them to Meta, and send a single product or a multi-product message straight into a conversation. Carts arrive in the inbox as a structured order — items, quantities and subtotal — attached to the contact and, if you want, to a deal on the pipeline.
The whole loop, inside one conversation
Browsing, choosing, ordering and the updates afterwards — none of it needs a website, an app download or a payment link the customer distrusts.
Catalogue managed from the app
Create the catalogue, add products with price, currency, image and description, and push them to Meta. Each product shows its sync state, and a failed push tells you what Meta objected to — and retries.
Product messages that sell
Send a single product card, or a multi-product message with a curated set. The customer taps through, builds a cart and sends it back — inside WhatsApp, in the thread they were already in.
Carts arrive as orders, not text
A cart lands as a structured order: item names, quantities, unit prices and a subtotal, stored against the contact. Nobody retypes a wall of message into a spreadsheet.
Order updates as utility templates
Confirmed, packed, shipped, delivered — sent as approved utility templates, so the customer gets the update even after the 24-hour window has closed.
Abandoned carts followed up
A cart that never became an order is a trigger like any other. The automation engine can chase it once, politely, a day later — and stop if the customer replies.
Attached to the customer, not lost
Every order sits on the contact record with the conversation that produced it, and can create or update a deal on the pipeline so the value shows up in your forecast.
Four steps from a price list to a product card
Connect commerce to your WABA
Your WhatsApp Business Account needs catalogue permission, which is granted during Embedded Signup. If your number was connected before, it is one reconnection.
Create the catalogue
Create it from TicAte, or point at the catalogue your business already owns. One catalogue serves the number; products live under it.
Add products and push them to Meta
Name, description, price in your currency, image and a retailer ID. Push to Meta and watch each product turn from pending to live — or tell you exactly why it did not.
Send, and take the cart
Send a product or a multi-product message from the inbox or from an automation. The cart comes back as an order, ready for the utility template that confirms it.
